Welsh organ law may put 'too much pressure' on hospitals

Swansea University’s Professor of Health Economics, Ceri Phillips has claimed that hospitals in Wales could struggle to cope if the Welsh law on organ donation is changed to a system of presumed consent. He has spoken out about the Welsh Government's plans, saying it could ultimately lead to organs being wasted and has the potential to cause public confusion, leading to lower donation rates.
