The ‘We Need Everybody’ campaign features Gordon who had a heart transplant aged just 13, and other people of all ages, shapes, sizes and ethnicities baring almost all which highlights that anyone can be an organ donor.
We saw a tremendous amount of media coverage following the launch of the campaign last year. To date, over 2.5 million people in Scotland have joined the NHS Organ Donor Register and around 550 people in Scotland are currently waiting for a transplant. This is 48% of the population in Scotland and the highest total ever recorded. But we still need everybody to register to become an organ donator.
The new online system for ordering organ donation campaign material will allow you to see at a glance what items are available and to quickly place an order.
